At Halfway Home Animal Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life. Our team of dedicated volunteers is committed to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need, providing them with the care and protection they need to thrive. We work hard to find loving homes for each of our rescues, and we are deeply committed to promoting animal welfare in our community. Our Programs

Foster Care

Behavioural Assessments & Training

Our foster care program places cats and dogs in temporary homes while they wait for their forever families. This program avoids or removes them from the pound system helps reduce overcrowding in pounds and gives animals the opportunity to receive personalised care and attention.

Our behaviour program helps animals overcome challenges and improves their chances of finding a permanent home. We work with each animal to address their unique needs and provide them with the behaviour modification / training if needed. Ongoing support is offered to adopters.

Veterinary Care

We provide vet treatment for all animals in our care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. Our goal is to ensure that every animal is healthy and ready for adoption.

Adoption Services

Our adoption services match cats and dogs with loving families who will provide them with the care and attention they deserve. We carefully screen potential adopters to ensure that each animal is placed in a caring home that suits them.

Advocacy

We are proud to have completed several impactful projects over the years that have helped us further our mission in supporting and advocating for all animals in need. From rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats to providing medical care to neglected farm animals, our work is driven by compassion and a dedication to a better future for all animals.

Donation Options

As a non-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of donors to help us continue our mission. We accept monetary donations as well as donations of food, toys, and other supplies.

We currently have an abundance of physical donations so feel free to spread the love to other rescue organisations.
