While we'd love your help with Halfway Home, if you have an independent streak, we can provide information on how to set up and structure your own group to help animals. We can also provide tips regarding proper management and governance.
You need a passion for animals, but you need more than that. You need commitment, loads of energy, the ability to stay cool under pressure, be prepared to go with a bit less sleep and you need to be very, very organised. And of course you'll need some financial resources - if you want to make money, this isn't for you!
